Celiac Disease

Celiac Disease is the most common genetic disorder that affects the small intestine .  It affects the intestine's ability to digest and absorb nutrients.  It runs in families, but most likely to occur if a family has a history of Down syndrome and Turner syndrome.  It's seen in people that are Northern European.

Symptoms :

excessive gas
weight loss
bone pain
diarrhea
 fatigue

Treatment is that elimination of gluten from the diet is necessary.
